Home sales have decreased in Davisville Village
Six homes changed hands in Davisville Village in December, representing a 14.3% decrease in home sales over last year. Three detached homes were sold, a 25% drop from the previous year’s four home sales. Sale of semis also decreased from three sales in December 2016 to two sales last month or a 33.3% decrease. The average dollar values of the six December homes dropped by 5.7% to $1,676,500.
The year-to-date average value of the 175 homes rose by 16.9% to $1,636,879 compared to the 156 homes that sold in 2016 for $1,400,814. The 102 detached homes saw a 10.1% gain in average value over the 77 detached homes that sold in 2016. Average dollar value of semis increased 20.8% to $1,386,011.
The highest valued sale in Davisville Village in 2017 was a detached home on Belsize Drive that sold for $3,150,000. The lowest valued sale was a single-bedroom bungalow on Hillsdale Avenue that sold for $828,000.
