Home sales in Leaside & Bennington Heights decrease

Monthly Update

Seven detached homes were listed in Leaside and Bennington Heights in January where three detached homes were sold within the same month, dropping 57.1% from last year’s seven sales.

The three detached were sold at an average value of $ 1,843,000, a 7.6% drop from January 2017’s $1,993,667. No semis were listed nor sold last month.

The highest valued home was a two-story on Broadway Avenue that sold for $2,468,000 – 107% over its listing price of $2,300,000. It was a beautiful four-bedroom, four-bath that stood on a 30 x 125 foot lot and took a week to sell.

The least priced was a relisted home and sold in just two days for 99% of its asking price – a renovated three-bedroom, two-bath at the corner of Rumsey Road and Eglinton Ave East.
