Last month, the average Davisville home sold after 8 days on the market. A Davisville Avenue home sold three days after it was listed, while the longest remained on the market for 14 days. The highest selling Davisville Village transaction of the month featured a detached 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom home on a 50 x 125-foot lot with a mutual drive and garage on Belsize Drive. It sold for $2,508,000 which was 125% of the asking price. It was followed by a home on Soudan Avenue which sold for $2,490,000 which was 100% of the initial listing price.
Entry into the Davisville Village market now requires buyers to spend at least $1,600,000 for either a detached or semi-detached home. Buyers continue to look for homes in midtown while low inventory endures as the main driver of competitive bidding.
